We operate in the Mining & Industrial, Marine, Defence and Infrastructure services sectors. This would best suit a Senior Contracts Administrator or Contracts Manager with direct experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contracting organisation.

THE ROLE

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Review and improve Contract Administration mechanisms
  • Ensure all reporting required by the client, including status, project, program, and risk reports, all have sufficient content and are submitted on time
  • Commercial review of Head Contracts, MSA’s and Agreements
  • Provide support and work with Area and Operation Managers to ensure project commercial requirements and outcomes are met
  • Implement and support of subcontract management processes
  • Liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Work with the Commercial team to ensure ongoing development and training

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in a similar commercial role
  • Analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • High levels of proficiency on Head Contract and Subcontract commercial correspondence
  • Financial or accounting experience (advantageous)
  • Ability to understand risks and limitations associated with all project legal agreements and requirements
  • Sound working knowledge of project administration and project control applications
  • Ability to engage with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Written and oral communication skills with an ability to present information to a range of audiences
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills
