  • Port Hedland local or FIFO roster 2:1
  • Would suit a Project Manager with significant Sustaining Capital works background

Lead the day-to-day delivery of multiple construction and remediation projects across the Pilbara region

THE ROLE

Project Management/Delivery

  • Manage all aspects of the project including contract management, estimating, programming of work and defect rectification
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
  • Manage project start-up, maintain project schedule and ensure effective handover, including holding regular project management meetings
  • Report on project success, results, progress, and deployment of activity
  • Maintain the project site, premises, plant & equipment
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements

Employee Relations

  • Foster channels of communication on site to engage with employees to create positive workforce culture
  • Motivate project team and ensure accountable to delivering with efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure employee performance reviews are completed, and any issues are addressed

Commercials

  • Take ownership of all commercial aspects of project
  • Manage and analyse project expenditure and duration

Pre - Contract

  • Ensure professional, high-quality estimates/tender bid/proposals
  • Engage with clients and internal subject matter experts at precontract stage to understand scope, and contribute to tender process

ABOUT YOU

Along with extensive project management and delivery skills, you will have a sustaining capital works background that includes one or more of the following;

  • Demonstrated experience leading Structural and or Mechanical Engineering projects in mining environment
  • Ability to lead the team deliverables and client expectations

You will have experience in managing Projects in and around the Construction industry along with leadership skills, commercial acumen and planning and programming skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management, or similar
