This newly created opportunity will see you deliver projects, as well as involvement with operations, building new relationships, managing projects from start to finish.

Projects include refurbishments, repairs, remediation, demolition and upgrade projects valued around $5,000,000.00

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
• Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
• Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
• Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
• Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
• Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
• Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program 
• Involvement with tendering/estimation
• Create and modify ITP’s and SWMS
• Raise RFI’s and track responses

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a similar role, managing construction projects in a contractor environment
• Strong leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities
• A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety
• Commercial acumen 
• Solid programming and planning skills
• Experienced with Microsoft Project and developing work schedules
• Understanding of quoting & tendering self-performance works
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite

Qualifications and Requirements

• Tertiary Engineering qualification or trade qualified in relevant discipline.
• Construction induction white card
• Drivers License
