Establish, lead and grow a dedicated national access division.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a business unit with the support of Duratec's Executive Leadership Team, shaping a market-leading access capability that supports some of Australia's most significant construction, remediation, defence, mining and infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will be responsible for driving safety, operational excellence, business development, profitability and long-term growth across the national access portfolio.
THE ROLE
You will be accountable for building a sustainable and profitable national access business unit, while supporting broader Duratec operations through innovative access solutions and technical expertise.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing the national access growth strategy.
- Building a standalone access portfolio targeting long-term, sustainable revenue growth.
- Identifying, bidding for and securing access-only contracts across Australia.
- Supporting multidisciplinary projects through self-performed access solutions.
- Leading national safety performance and ensuring best-practice systems and procedures.
- Managing the Access Division profit and loss.
- Developing client relationships and identifying new market opportunities.
- Building a high-performing national team.
- Developing access equipment, asset and inventory strategies to support growth.
- Providing specialist access expertise and operational support across the broader business.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Extensive experience in access, scaffolding, industrial services, maintenance, construction or related sectors.
- Strong leadership experience managing large teams across multiple locations.
- Demonstrated business development and client relationship management success.
- Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts and profit and loss responsibilities.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
- A track record of improving operational performance and delivering profitable growth.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- A strong commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.
