  • $65 per hour, casual flat rate
  • Ongoing shutdown work across the Pilbara
  • FIFO from Perth Airport 

Join our vastly diverse Northwest division, conducting boilermaking and welding duties on multiple projects across the Pilbara Region.

THE ROLE

  • Inspect, select, and install rigging gear and lifting equipment.
  • Plan and execute safe lifting and load movement operations.
  • Attach loads using slings, chains, shackles, spreader bars, and other lifting devices.
  • Direct crane operators and doggers during lifting activities.
  • Assemble and dismantle structural steel, conveyors, pipes, and mining plant equipment.
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure lifting gear is maintained and compliant.
  • Work in accordance with site safety procedures, permits, and Australian standards.

ABOUT YOU

  • High Risk Work Licence (Rigging: Intermediate or Advanced)
  • Happy to assist other trades on a regular basis
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in the mining industry
  • Police Check (or ability to obtain one)
  • White card
  • Proactive, teamwork skills, and high safety standards
