Based in Launceston, Projects include refurbishments, repairs, remediation, demolition and upgrade projects valued at approximately $10 million.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
• Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
• Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
• Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
• Prepare project progress reports and lead weekly meetings
• Provide technical and engineering advice as required
• Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program 
• Support tendering and estimation activities
• Create and modify ITP’s and SWMS
• Raise RFI’s and track responses

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Experience in mining, marine, plant maintenance or shut down environments
• Minimum 5 years on-site management experience
• Ability to coordinate and deliver complex shutdown of works
• Leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities
• High level of safety awareness and commitment
• Strong commercial acumen 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Trade or engineering background – (highly regarded)
• White card
• Drivers Licence
• National Police Check
