Based in Launceston, Projects include refurbishments, repairs, remediation, demolition and upgrade projects valued at approximately $10 million.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
- Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
- Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
- Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
- Prepare project progress reports and lead weekly meetings
- Provide technical and engineering advice as required
- Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
- Support tendering and estimation activities
- Create and modify ITP’s and SWMS
- Raise RFI’s and track responses
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Experience in mining, marine, plant maintenance or shut down environments
- Minimum 5 years on-site management experience
- Ability to coordinate and deliver complex shutdown of works
- Leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities
- High level of safety awareness and commitment
- Strong commercial acumen
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Trade or engineering background – (highly regarded)
- White card
- Drivers Licence
- National Police Check
