Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments and collections, and supporting the broader finance team with day-to-day transactional accounting.
THE ROLE
- Perform and maintain accurate bank reconciliations
- Provide administrative support for the management of property leases
- Assist with the review, processing, and management of expense and corporate card claims
- Administer company credit cards, including fuel cards, Bunnings cards, and toll accounts
- Process bank guarantee and insurance bond requests and maintain associated registers
- Maintain the ERP system by setting up new projects and managing approval workflows
- Support the preparation and lodgement of annual FBT and income tax returns
- Prepare and submit responses to Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) surveys
- Provide support with BAS preparation
- Assist in the calculation of supplier rebate accruals
- Review and monitor general expense transactions
- Assist with the set-up and processing of ad-hoc payments for authorisation
- Provide general ad-hoc support to the Finance function as required
ABOUT YOU
Along with proven experience in a similar role within a medium to large company, you will have:
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building positive stakeholder relationships
- Intermediate level experience in MS Office
- Team player with sound verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with a can-do proactive attitude
- Police Clearance
Desirable Skills
- JD Edwards (Oracle based system) experience
- Other ERP experience
- Accounting qualification such as CPA
