Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments and collections, and supporting the broader finance team with day-to-day transactional accounting.

THE ROLE

• Perform and maintain accurate bank reconciliations
• Provide administrative support for the management of property leases
• Assist with the review, processing, and management of expense and corporate card claims
• Administer company credit cards, including fuel cards, Bunnings cards, and toll accounts
• Process bank guarantee and insurance bond requests and maintain associated registers
• Maintain the ERP system by setting up new projects and managing approval workflows
• Support the preparation and lodgement of annual FBT and income tax returns
• Prepare and submit responses to Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) surveys
• Provide support with BAS preparation
• Assist in the calculation of supplier rebate accruals
• Review and monitor general expense transactions
• Assist with the set-up and processing of ad-hoc payments for authorisation
• Provide general ad-hoc support to the Finance function as required

ABOUT YOU

Along with proven experience in a similar role within a medium to large company, you will have:

• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Accurate data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building positive stakeholder relationships
• Intermediate level experience in MS Office
• Team player with sound verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter with a can-do proactive attitude
• Police Clearance

Desirable Skills

• JD Edwards (Oracle based system) experience
• Other ERP experience
• Accounting qualification such as CPA
