THE ROLE

Bring your expertise in ICT Systems and be responsible for the ICT infrastructure, security and database administration across a multi-faceted national business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain all Cloud based systems, Server & Networking infrastructure
  • Maintain System Backups and Disaster recovery
  • Configure and maintain mobile/handheld device management systems
  • Administer Cisco and HPe Aruba devices and maintain secure network configurations
  • Support and configure Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Azure/Entra ID
  • Mentor and train ICT Support officer(s) as/when required
  • Manage escalated issues in accordance with SLA
  • Configure and maintain phone system infrastructure, VPN infrastructure and SOE Deployment technologies
  • Maintain high level of ICT Security
  • Organise warranty and repairs of faulty infrastructure devices
  • Visit remote branches and job sites to install ICT equipment and resolve issues
  • Database Administration

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Prior experience maintaining ICT Systems and infrastructure is crucial to this role, along with:

  • 4+ years’ previous experience in a similar ICT role
  • Experienced with; Cisco Routers (routing, ACLs, site‑to‑site VPNs), HPe Aruba switches (VLANs, 802.1X desirable), Veeam Backup & Replication and Windows Server 2019–2025 administration
  • VMware VCenter and/or Hyper-V administration
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft PowerShell scripting, SharePoint Online Configuration and administration support
  • Strong understanding of ICT security principles
  • Ability to liaise and communicate effectively across all stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Certification or Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Microsoft Role-Based certifications and Cisco CCNA or CCNP highly regarded

  • On-Premise Active Directory administration (Including Group Policy, DHCP)
  • Microsoft 365 admin (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure IaaS/PaaS basics
  • Intune (device compliance, config profiles), Windows Autopilot
