• Remediation projects consisting concrete repair, blast & paint works
• FIFO from Perth or relocation to Kalgoorlie
• Multi state construction Contractor

Manage  various remediation projects from initial setup through to completion for Duratec’s tier 1 mining clients. Based in Kalgoorlie, this role will oversee a variety of major upgrade projects.

THE ROLE

• Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
• Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
• Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
• Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
• Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
• Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program 
• Involvement with tendering/estimation
• Create and modify ITP’s and SWMS
• Raise RFI’s and track responses

ABOUT YOU

You are a positive front-line leader and have previous experience of approximately 5 years in an on-site management role along with;

• Experience in mining, plant maintenance and shutdowns
• Experience in a similar role, managing construction projects in a contractor environment
• Leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities
• A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety
• Strong commercial acumen 
• Solid programming and planning skills
• Experience overseeing concrete repair, blast and paint and electrical works is highly advantageous

• Tertiary qualification in Construction or Engineering
