THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing a range of job and scopes including refurbishment works, civil, roofing, structural steel, concrete.

You will also:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of construction site,
  • Stakeholder communication,
  • Monitor & track progress, resolve issues & supervise trades from set up to completion,
  • Lead WHS on site & assure the safety and compliance in the workforce,
  • Contribute and execute the Construction Methodologies and Method of Works Plans,
  • Implementation of relevant SWMS, Permits, Isolations and Controls to ensure the safety of the team,
  • Quality and workmanship assurance in accordance with quality management processes and documentation,
  • Manage and capture workforce hours and productivity,
  • Procurement of equipment & materials for the direct works on site.

  • Experience with commercial construction, refurbishment works, civil, steel structures, blast & paint, roofing, and concrete remediation works is highly advantageous
  • Trade certification and/or construction qualifications
  • Experience in Defence Estate works with relevant clearances - highly regarded 
  • Positive conflict resolution, communication and influencing skills
