The Duratec Group of companies has experienced substantial growth in the value, complexity, and number of projects that the business will deliver in upcoming years.
This is an opportunity for a manager to build off existing sector offerings in Northern Territory region and implement new Duratec offerings and business along the way.
In this role you will support with business growth by securing new clients and projects and managing those projects through to delivery across the state.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for executing a growth strategy focused on Mining and Energy Remediation project success. Your duties will include:
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Using the existing in-house experience as a foundation, develop a coordinated delivery team to deliver multiple Mining and Energy Remediation works
- Develop a pipeline of Project Opportunities aligned with the business strategy
- Develop and maintain client relationships to assist with the aligned pipeline of opportunities
- Co-ordinate and align with State and sector Managers to ensure efficient and effective utilisation of group resources
- Bid management – Strategically champion bids from engagement through to submission
- Develop and maintain relationships with capable and culture aligned contractors
- Submit progress reports to Management and take part in Management engagement meetings to give feedback on progress
- Forecast sales targets and co-ordinate the successful achievement of targets
- Set short- and long-term strategy
ABOUT YOU
You are a motivated and progressive leader, who relishes autonomy and the opportunity to build a team culture that supports the Duratec Groups visions and goals.
Proven track record for delivering projects and developing new business within the Mining and Energy Remediation Sector.
You have come from a trade background and have progressed, and/or you have an engineering or construction management background.
Your capabilities include:
- Experience in a Mining/Energy remediation related construction environment, bringing an existing network contacts within the Australian Mining and Energy Sector to facilitate a fast transition
- Commercial acumen with the responsibility for the financial success of a multiple active projects
- Experience working on Blast and Paint projects
- Commitment to business development and pre-contracts activity
- Ability to manage multiple business lines and deliver operational and growth strategies for all
- Ability to influence and drive teams to deliver contribution to business objectives
- Ability to obtain a police clearance
