THE ROLE

Responsible for providing support of HSEQ compliance, management plans and procedures across a range of construction and remediation projects.

  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of HSEQ documentation
  • Advise and educate teams on legislative requirements
  • Process incident and hazard reports
  • Drive a safe and healthy work environment
  • Conduct HSEQ site inspections and audits, pre-start meetings and Toolbox meetings
  • Coordinate HESQ training programs
  • Analyse HSEQ performance, reporting, system updates
  • Maintain the Company Integrated Management System
  • Create and review SWMS, JHA’s and conduct Audits

ABOUT YOU

  • Prior experience leading HSEQ in construction and remediation works.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a similar discipline.
  • Working knowledge of HSEQ practices and relevant HSE legislation.
  • Investigation qualification and experience being desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
  • Skilled in positively influencing, developing, and maintaining site relationships.
  • Self-manage workload to ensure efficiency and a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Detail oriented with prioritization and deadline management skills.
  • Understanding of Quality Management processes.
