THE ROLE

Manage the delivery of effective learning & development programs, RTO obligations and organisational training initiatives.

  • Oversee the management of the apprenticeship and traineeship programs, ensuring compliance with training plans, schedules, and industry requirements
  • Design & implement process improvements to drive high-impact training outcomes
  • Ensure training programs align with business priorities and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee training budgets, resources, and ensure cost-effective delivery
  • Establish and manage relationships with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), government regulators, and external training providers
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure training programs align with operational, compliance and HSEQ requirements
  • Oversee the management of training and competency records
  • Coach & mentor the team whist managing performance

ABOUT YOU

Along with previous experience in a similar role within the construction and/or engineering sectors you will have;

  • Led a team of L & D coordinators, advisors and/or admins
  • Previous RTO/training experience within the construction or engineering sectors
  • Managed apprenticeship and trainee programs
  • Experience with working in a regulatory environment
  • Managed multiple stakeholder relationships across multi-faceted companies   

Desirable Qualifications and Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Drivers Licence
