Lead the charge for Duratec in QLD and play an integral part in its continuous growth and success

THE ROLE

Reporting to the National Business Development Manager and working with the state management team:

  • Build and execute a comprehensive business development plan for your state or area, targeting growth and expansion.
  • Be the first point of contact for clients, establishing strong, lasting relationships.
  • Research and analyse the needs of each customer to achieve a high conversion rate on tenders, tailoring solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the business, ensuring their needs and feedback shape our strategies.
  • Deliver a key set of input KPIs, including new contacts, customer meetings, tenders received, and other critical metrics.
  • Achieve yearly profit targets, driving success for your region.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or in a similar role where you've consistently demonstrated your ability to drive growth.
  • Aptitude for conducting thorough market research to build robust industry knowledge and inform business strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills that enable you to secure favourable outcomes for the company.
  • Confidence and capability in presenting to groups of senior managers and clients, ensuring clear communication and engagement.
  • Ability to foster team rapport and create a collaborative work environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, using these tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • A valid driver’s license, facilitating travel and client visits as required.
