THE ROLE

A focus of this role will be to develop trusted relationships with our management team to influence, coach and upskill leaders to add to a bigger picture of employee engagement in a positive values-based workplace culture, that recognises the commitment given to our success by everyone of our employees.

  • Provide guidance on complex workplace issues, performance improvement, management or discipline.
  • Deliver advice to contribute to a constructive culture of consistency and fairness to add to positive employee experience and engagement.
  • Support managers through any investigation or grievance activity.
  • Support the interpretation of Enterprise Agreements and Award entitlements terms and conditions in a changing workplace relation environment.
  • Foster employee relations with a broad range of generalist responsibilities.
  • Provide senior technical support on employment matters related to remuneration, redundancy, terminations, benefits, right of entry and in the resolution of emerging issues.
  • Offer an escalation point for HR advisors or recruiters for internal development.
  • Contribute to projects, procedures and policies to support new HR initiatives that build our employee value proposition and culture.

What you'll need to succeed

You are passionate about driving exceptional employee experience throughout employment lifecycle. 

  • Experience in a similar HR role with knowledge of HR laws, awards, EBAs and best practices
  • Knowledge of HR systems (JDE, UKG advantageous) and data management
  • Stakeholder engagement, clear communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building
  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Motivated approach to managing people and culture-related issues 
  • Experience with managing the process of visa applications is advantageous
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Qualifications and requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Flexibility to travel as and when required
