This opportunity will see you working within a collaborative team, supporting the success of numerous construction projects for blue chip clients along with assisting in business case development and acquisition processes.
THE ROLE
- You will support the National Energy Manager with general administration tasks applicable to business case development and acquisition processes and project contract obligations.
- Liaise with internal Duratec team and external stakeholders
- Ensure accurate meeting agendas and minutes are taken and circulated as required, with actions followed up and closed out
- Document control including filing, distribution, action list tracking and follow ups
- Assist in ensuring contractual and commercial risks are understood, managed, and adhered to
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to the client
- Manage subcontractors from onboarding through to claim assessments
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligations
- Maintain relevant registers that track and substantiate the projects commercial position
- Complete assigned ad hoc general tasks and any project works as required
- Closely monitor and forecast costs, to produce internal reports
- Prepare and track TQ/RFIs, Transmittal and Variations
- Project close out, administering Deeds of Release and Final Accounts
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will bring previous experience in a contract administration or senior administration role in the construction industry, along with:
- The ability to engage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to build mutually beneficial relationships
- Understand risks and limitations associated with project legal agreements and requirements
- Knowledge of project administration and project control, including document control
- Analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Positive negotiation, conflict and influencing skills
- High level of written and oral communication skills with an ability to present information to a range of audiences
- Proficiency in the MS Office, intermediate to advanced Excel skills
