Join our Procurement team in Wangara working Monday – Friday, with the opportunity to learn all aspects of purchasing, inventory management and warehousing in a dynamic and varied role that offers a foot in the door of a purchasing and logistics environment.

THE ROLE

Primarily responsible for purchasing, logistics and warehouse duties within a mixed office and stores environment including inventory management, purchasing, receival and dispatch, logistics and forklift operation. You will work within a small dedicated and experienced team providing a supportive environment.

  • Assist with the supply of materials, consumables, PPE, tools, and equipment needed to support the activities on our project sites.
  • Assist with purchasing and logistics for inventory and site based works
  • Assist in the monitoring of supplies and stock
  • Prepare and load deliveries for dispatch to sites
  • Check receivables when they arrive to ensure the orders have been correctly filled and the goods meet specifications
  • Prepare and load deliveries for dispatch to sites
  • Ensure general housekeeping and warehouse remains efficient and safe

ABOUT YOU

  • White card
  • C class drivers licence 
  • Forklift licence - or be willing to undergo training to obtain a licence 
  • Enjoy working within a small dedicated and experienced team providing a supportive function to an active workforce.
  • Confident communicator and can build relationships with an array of people from suppliers and site staff, delivery drivers through to management
  • Naturally a responsible and organised person, with great work ethic, use initiative and ask relevant questions to ensure the right equipment is going to the right place
  • Friendly and enthusiastic about the prospects of achieving a formal qualification and growing your career 
  • You will know your way around a computer keyboard and have the capability of processing orders on phone and via email and ensuring delivery within a timeframe
  • Basic administration skills to assist our supply process
