The Duratec business has experienced substantial growth in the value, complexity, and number of projects that the business will deliver.

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to step in and coordinate our Northern Queensland operations.

You will be responsible for the delivery of numerous projects and teams, scope of works will include mining, commercial, oil and gas

As the Project Manager you will be supported by our experienced project teams, with the opportunity to contribute and guide project and organisational success.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage day-to-day operations with project teams and local support services
  • Monitor progress against the baseline schedule and implement corrective actions where necessary to ensure timely delivery
  • Oversee project budgets and reports
  • Involvement with tendering/estimation contributions inclusive of; programme, methodology and logistics
  • Source, retain and manage a local team to deliver project success
  • Facilitate meetings and planning sessions
  • Build a collaborative and inclusive workplace that encourages diversity

You will be a motivated and outside of the box thinker seeking the next step in their career whilst contributing to the Duratec Groups visions and goals.

Your prior experience as a Project Manager will include;

  • Demonstrated delivery of multiple construction and/or infrastructure projects >$10M
  • Sound knowledge of the application and establishment of project planning, scheduling and cost control tools
  • Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, permits, and compliance requirements in the construction industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Ability to influence and drive teams to deliver contribution to business objectives
  • Drivers License
