THE ROLE

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, working on our remediation projects across Northern Tasmania. This role is offered Monday – Friday with potential overtime and weekend work available.

You will be responsible for a variety of duties such as:

• High Pressure Hydro Demolition & Surface Preparation
• UHPWJ Coating removal
• Gunite / similar spraying 
• Industrial blasting & painting
• Support the site project delivery team with manual labour tasks
• Operation of hand and power tools
• General construction and assisting tradesmen in day-to-day duties.

• Hydro blasting experience – HPWJ/UHWJ Operator & or Assistant with the below competencies
• MSMSS00017 Use high pressure water jetting equipment.
• MSMSS00018 Operate a high-pressure water jetting system.
• Gunite or Similar spraying experience
• Experience in Vessel handling and Coxswain
• Exposure to concrete spall repair, crack injection and diverse concrete coating application methods 
• Construction white card
• Driver licence
• Experience in working on remediation projects
• Physically strong and able to work in and around water
• Strong team player, proactive and reliable with high safety standards
