Join our expanding ACT operations team and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of our ongoing remedial Defence projects. Based in the Fyshwick office and travelling to various sites throughout the ACT, you will collaborate closely with the local team to ensure robust and timely project delivery and engineering solutions.

THE ROLE

• Engagement with subcontractors
• Manage day to day project activities
• Plan and coordinate works, equipment and personnel
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor engagement
• Drive HSEQ and HSEQ compliance
• Manage RFI’s, ITP’s and Quality documentation
• Preparing and submitting progress claims
• Monitor project costs
• Coordinate direct labour workforce and sub-contractors
• Program and scheduling works
• Quantity take-offs
• Prepare tender submissions
• Undertake site inspection to ensure works are completed according to specification

ABOUT YOU

With extensive experience in project delivery, you’ll possess the following;

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar discipline
• Minimum of 3+ years’ prior experience in a similar role
• Previous experience with Microsoft project
• Exposure to construction industrial projects
• Experience in tendering and managing subcontractors
• Project engineering and delivery skills, including budgeting, coordinating work
• Ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Ability to self-manage own workload while working well in a team
• Proven problem-solving ability and can ‘think outside the box’
• Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
