THE ROLE

  • Manage the contract and client facing negotiations
  • Review and continual improvement of Subcontract Mechanisms
  • Prepare variation proposals
  • Manage all reporting required by the client, including status reporting, project reports, program reporting, risk reporting, ensuring all reporting has sufficient content and is submitted on time
  • Commercial review of Head Contracts and Agreements
  • Support to Project Management for Project Forecasting
  • Implementation and support of subcontract management processes
  • Manage document control, FIs, Submittals, Transmittals and Variation registers
  • Project closing out, administering Deeds of Release and Final Accounts
  • Ongoing commercial support to projects locally or nationally
  • Work closely with the HSECQ team and Project Managers to support compliance with Management System policies, management plans, procedures and local and regulatory requirements.

ABOUT YOU

  • Positive negotiation, conflict and influencing skills
  • Qualification in Contract Management or similar discipline
  • 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Experienced in financial/budget management and reporting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant codes and legislation
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with clients in a professional manner
  • Thorough understanding of established quality principles
  • Police Clearance
  • Current Drivers Licence

Desirable experience and skills/knowledge

  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Industry experience within the building and construction industry
