THE ROLE

This opportunity includes a diverse array of tasks and support from a highly experienced finance team. You will assist the team with;

  • High volume processing of invoices and matching to purchase orders
  • Cost and code invoices, and allocation of costing to jobs
  • Weekly and monthly payments
  • Perform reconciliations including supplier statement reconciliatios
  • Assist with end of month closing and reporting requirement
  • Assist with other reporting requirements including, payment times and retentions
  • Management of team when AP Lead is on leave
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across the business regarding any accounts payable activities
  • Liaise with suppliers

ABOUT YOU

  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment including the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships
  • Positive team player with sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a can-do proactive attitude
  • Able to mange multiple deadlines
  • Police Clearance

Desirable skills and qualifications

  • Certificate III/IV Accounts Administration or similar
  • Experience working with a project-based / construction company
  • Experience using JD Edwards (JDE) or other Oracle software
