Joining our Newcastle operations based in Mayfield East, you will oversee the overall management of construction, refurbishment & remediation projects from initial setup through to completion.
YOUR ROLE
- Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
- Ensuring compliance with HSECQ requirements
- Ensuring effective cost control and efficient running of the project
- Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors
- Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
- Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
- Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
ABOUT YOU
- Experience in remediation projects such as Blast and Paint, concrete repair, waterproofing, structural strengthening, access, encapsulation and scaffolding
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering or similar discipline
- Alternatively, building industry trade or technical qualifications will be considered
- The ability to positively influence, develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
- An understanding of the bigger picture and ability to self-manage own workload while working well in a team
- Proven problem-solving capability and ability to ‘think outside the box’
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
- Strong demonstrable MS Word/Excel/Project expertise is essential
