THE ROLE
Be responsible for estimating tender quotes and ensuring that tenders are accurate and submitted on time for our Remediation projects across Australia.
- Providing accurate cost and drafting estimates
- Collecting and following up on quotes from suppliers
- Compiling clear and concise scopes of works and request for tender documentation
- Maintain and produce accurate project records and reports
- Conduct commercial, risk and profitability reviews
- Detailed tender handover with traceability and support into pre-contracts and delivery
- Liaise positively with internal and external stakeholders
ABOUT YOU
Your ability to be flexible and can-do attitude will ensure that you succeed in this role.
- Experience in estimating or project managing blast and paint and remediation works
- Carry out detailed and accurate material quantity take-offs to develop bills of quantities
- Interpersonal skills, confidence, and professionalism
- Financial, and commercial acumen, as well as the ability to identify new project opportunities and ensuring a high success rate of team bids
- High level attention to detail and the ability to work to set timeframes
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar equivalent
DESIRABLE EXPEIRENCE
- Marine Remediation and Infrastructure
- Experienced in multiple States across Australia
- Remediation of Oil & Gas infrastructure
- Fuel Infrastructure & Reticulation
- Expert Genisis software proficient
