THE ROLE
The Duratec Northern Territory team are expanding opportunities for a Technical Project Engineer to come into the local Darwin team, to oversee and champion remediation projects across Marine, Defence and Construction Environments.
This is a local Darwin, Northern Territory role with ongoing project works.
- Ensure compliance with Duratec’s project management systems and drive continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of assigned project scope, specifications, QA and timely outcomes.
- Provide technical advice on design and construction methods.
- Manage all technical aspects of complex projects
- Assist in procurement and subcontractor management.
- Coordinate site activities with supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers to support safe and efficient project delivery.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress updates, quality records, procurement tracking and site correspondence.
ABOUT YOU
- 5 years of experience in Construction
- Strong understanding of quality documentation and compliance requirements (ITPs, inspections, QA records)
- Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confident working with drawings, specifications and technical documentation to support project delivery.
- A proactive and practical approach, with the ability to work closely with site teams, clients and subcontractors.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
