THE ROLE

Projects include a variety of mining and oil and gas projects.

• Prepare accurate tendering/project programs and project reports that expedite the successful delivery of each project
• Extract detailed information from construction drawings and SOW and construct detailed programs
• Identify level of resources required, and derive and build EOT claims
• Evaluate impact of change on planned work, including critical path analysis and extension of time entitlements
• Brief and update the project teams and management on planning issues including critical program issues and risk
• Assess delivery methodology and sequencing to identify and provide improvements
• Query construction proposals to maximise efficiencies
• Interpret and create work break down structures (WBS)

 ABOUT YOU

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience in tender preparation, project planning, schedule development and progress reporting for construction projects
• Ability to revise, forecast and estimate project activities through effective liaison with project teams
• A confident and professional manner, coupled with communication skills with clients and colleagues to ensure clarity in situations and to influence
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
